I designed the steering system for a prototype AWD EV racecar.
Designed with cost, weight, safety factor, manufacturing, and serviceability in mind.
When I got fed up with the cost of replacing parts on my R/C car, I decided to design and 3D print my own.
Using Fusion360, I designed over 20 unique parts that integrated with an existing model, considering hardware and electrical integration, and adjustable kinematic points.
In my free time I've been working on a 1/10th scale R/C model of SJSU's FSAE car from scratch using my experience with R/C cars.
Though it's still a work in progress and lives in CAD for now, I've designed a functional steering linkage and integrated battery, servo, and motor components.
For my high school engineering capstone project, I designed an entirely TPU 3D printed shoe prototype.
With an interchangeable sole, cushioned insert, and main body, this shoe was multifunctional, sustainable, and customizable. You could dis- and reassemble it in under three minutes with only pliers and a pen.
In a group tasked with building a robot that would locate, interact with, and move a beacon, I designed the mechatronic system capable of securing the payload and activating a switch on top.
The parts were 3D printed, and I designed with the torque specification of the servo in mind. I also soldered the IR sensor board for the bot.
